This Mylk so crucial to my health, schedule, and grocery budget. For one, I never run to the store for "milk," which always turns out to be not just milk, (both in ingredients and in supplies) and takes extra time, money, and energy. This Mylk is not steeped in a plastic or even weirder material-lined container, it's totally organic with no fillers, and it costs the amount of ONE Tablespoon of Almonds and some fresh filtered water.
BONUS, see if you live in a city where they don't use recyled poop water like we do in San Diego! - Water purity test for your zipcode here.
I've been using this milk exclusively for the last six years or so, and yes, it's amazing for baking, cooking, sauces, and putting in your precious tea and coffee:) No, it does not get as foamy and creamy as the "barista" Mylks, but that's because they use guar gum, sunflower and seed oils, and other fun weird things that are just not really food.
I also love using Macadamia (same amount 1-2 Tbs) which is creamier and has no leftover waste, cashew is the creamiest. Sometimes I'll mix in oats but 90% of the time I go for the straight Almond.
I bake a lot, so I don't add any sugars or vanilla, so it's more versatile, but go ahead play with it, throw in a date, strawberries, chocolate, coffee, matcha, chai, maple sugar, whatever!

One Mason Jar
1-2 TBS off almonds, macadamia, pecan, walnut, whatever
Fill said mason jar with good clean water
vitamix the heck out of it
pour thru a sieve ( I just use a metal mesh tea strainer)
lid it, fridge it, and viola!
I'd say it lasts almost a week in the fridge if it doesn't get used right away.
